I’ve seen more and more studios start to use these in videos recently. Anyone have a review for them? Just bought two and plan on using them in my next session. They look very effective on the feet but would like to hear more as I’m curious how effective they are. Thanks in advance!

It depends on what sort of scalp massager you mean? I used one of the metal scalp massagers (photo below) in a session, tbh, I didn't find it that effective at all, anywhere, just a very light, ineffective tickle at the most. I tried it once, and I haven't bothered using it again.

Im using the automatic ones that have little scrubbers

I posted a thread about this a while ago. My wife can be a very determined and tough to break lee despite being extremely ticklish. We bought this pink rubber/silicone scalp massager at Home Goods one time and the second I saw it I thought of tickling her with it and got turned on. Needless to say, when we were home later, she let me try it on her feet and she went crazy in an instant. She yanked her feet away and started saying "no no! Not that! Its too ticklish!" And she went ballistic as I tickled her feet with it.

In more recent sessions it has been less effective on her, disappointingly. Though I do find it works much better after the application of oil/lotion to the body. Also seems like mostly a foot tickling tool to me. Can't see myself tickling her upper body with it, though I considered it. I just dont see it being as effective.

Obviously the metal ones posted in the image above aren't going to work. Nothing personal, but they dont even look like tickling tools. You have to get something similar to the below image. My wife described it as feeling like a lot of tiny fingers tickling her or something. It also works better when the feet are stretched taut so you can scrub/massage properly.

Obviously, no tickling tool is completely perfect in all situations but this one is definitely a great tool to add to the collection.

I’ve had the scalp massager with the metal prongs used on the top of my head as a demonstration and it does tickle, but I’ve never thought about using it as a tickling tool

I have used a dog grooming thing that is similar to that and the first person I used it on their foot, they freaked out. The shouted "stop, it tickles too much"!

I've used the ones you're talking about to mixed success. Someone I play with regularly loved it, especially when I taped them to her feet. Another partner didn't care for it as much.

I tried the pet groomer on my wife. It didn't do anything for her. Thats why I was so surprised and taken aback when the silicone massager worked. I honestly tried it thinking the results would be the same as the pet groomer.

To see my wife pull her foot back faster than ive ever seen and also explode into giggles, well... my jaw hit the floor. To be fair, she does also have days where she is a lot more sensitive than other days.

I can be pretty ticklish too but the pet groomer doesn't affect me all too much. Maybe in the hands of an experienced tickler, it'd be different, but for me my ultimate weakness has always been the good ol' fashioned fingernails. Can't beat the classics. Im mostly a ler though. Just adding some personal experience regarding the massager.

Its really dependant person by person. I've heard of people absolutely losing their minds over being tickled by a feather for example. I have never once gotten that reaction from someone. I typically get "that feels good" or "that doesn't feel like anything". Its why I hate feathers. Theyre fun/sexy to look at/think about, but impractical tickling tools. Well, the reverse side is good.

I imagine once the movement patterns were recognized on the automatic ones with the 4 appendages it would get less ticklish. I thought about getting some, but then moved away from toys like that since they pretty much block the viewer’s view

I don't know why everyone else is trying to use this in places where it is not meant to be used for. This thing actually tickles me on my scalp! I had never imagined my scalp being so ticklish! It makes me squirm and hold on to the chair armrests tightly just to stay in position. One of the craziest sensations to experience!

My wife I’ll use ours in between my toes or start below my ankles and grip my feet while sliding up and down. It really tickles! Lol

My ex partner used to have a wahl brand massager he'd rub up and down my feet. That was unbearable. I guess it could be used for scalps also.
