I'm a 4'11 female who's been attending NEST all alone since spring of 1999 when I was just 26. I also ran Midwest-NEST once upon a time and will again at some point. Let me tell you quite bluntly that NEST is just a really great party. Period. It's only as weird as you want to make it in your mind. Sure, there's tickling, and that's fun and exciting and stimulating and all that, but you get over the taboo feeling *very* quickly and it becomes like the thrill of being at an amusement park; fun and a rush, but certainly not uncomfortably sexual. A *lot* us ladies like us have fretted for months (or years) over it before they attended, then wondered what they were worried about. Over the NEST weekend you meet awesome people
just like you and have dinner, talk about all kinds of topics, basically make friends for life who actually understand this part of you and 'get' that taboo, flushed feeling. If you find yourself wanting to play, you do, if not, you don't. It really is that simple. Furthermore, if you do feel a bit overwhelemed at some point there's always someone cool to talk to and relax you again. I've made girlfriends, like QBweaver and WMassdomme, not to mention wonderful gentlemen like Danimal, MKeemer, Jeff of Magic Touch and Max Speer himself, that I'll have for life. It's the event I look forward to all year, and as much as I love to play I can do that any time I want here in Ohio; I fly to Philly to see my friends.
