I mean I get it though. I clicked on this thinking it was something new I haven't seen yet, not something I've already seen 5 or 6 times. A simple search would tell you it's already been posted. I always do a quick search before I post celebrity content
 
That would make sense, but when I searched the site for "Scarlett Johansson," these were the results :

My eyesight is not what it used to be, but I don't see a relevant thread until somewhere near bottom. I understand how it was missed, but I am getting up there in age after all.

Looks to me like you've changed settings and it's showing oldest posts first, if you go to pages 6 or 7 you'll probably see them, as what you have on that screen shot are on the last pages of my search

I have not changed any settings here. I have few posts and visit sporadically. The oldest-posts-first idea would make sense if they were in that order, however if you look again they are not...

My point stands that "a simple search" is not so simple and maybe members could be more understanding and less brusque about that

Searching Scarlett Johansson Florence Pugh brings up only a handful of results, so it really is a simple search and even if your search results aren't in order you can advance search just the mainstream section or just take a glance through each page of the search results. All of which is simple, it really is just that simple, like Blueline said a simple search will tell you that it's already been posted
 
I’ve come up with what I think is a foolproof system. If I click on a post and it turns out to be something I’ve already seen, I either enjoy it again or I move on to something else. It’s very simple and my total time invested is a handful of seconds—way less than the time invested in posting a message like this.

What he said. It really is a foolproof system. And once you practice bit here, it's amazing how handy it is in other parts of your life. Facebook. The grocery store. The gym. It's changed my life.

Excuse me for wanting to see new information rather than the literally same thread four times in the past two months when it's unneeded. Especially when so simple to just use a function that is literally part of the forum, something which actually should be foolproof.

Read how you said "should be" and then think about the site age. maybe you will find some understanding. You should think about yourself that you have such a reputation of being angry about reposts.

And for the record, all I said was there has been multiple topics on this already, where is the anger in that? I'm angry at people specifically targeting me. There's a difference

I also have a reputation for finding and posting new content, maybe focus on that and maybe go tell others that there is realer shit going on today
 
I'm afraid that doesn't make up for the way you speak to people who can't spend the hours you spend on here. I bet more people, like me, will continue to just know you as that guy that hates reposts.

Just refrain yourself. The mainstream section to me is a shell of what it used to be years ago. Which makes no sense given the rise of social media and access to content these days. This forum should be popping with discoveries.

Just for once, try to refrain from being a dick toward people posting in this section. Try to encourage people to share and post. You don’t realize it, but you likely turn so many potential contributors off. Have a little bit of self reflection dude.

Pretty much most of the major discoveries that can be found on Twitter or thru google currently, have been posted. There are people here like myself, venom and ticklishfan who still do occasional searches to see what pops up. TBH, I think the golden era of celeb confirmations has done passed with Chat rooms being phased out. Chats were probably the best way of finding out celebs are ticklish imo. Twitter just hasn't been nearly as good by comparison.

The Cameo thread was probably the most action this board has seen in a while, and Cameo was fun while it lasted.

Cameo isn't entirely dead by any stretch. I got Charlotte Flair, Lana and Jinkx Monsoon in the last few months.
