In this case we are dealing with a "genre" objection.
Heie objected about the subject. Not the technique. Not the artist as a person.
A dog as a ticklee is an uncommon choice.
And yet Daphine's pic got an otherwise warm reaction.

I wouldn't call her over-sensitive or weak-willed: she's posted a drawing and she expected a 100% positive reaction.
Many of us do.
I expect no less than outstanding reactions when I post a new pic.
But, realistically, I know you can't please them all.
On the other hand, deleting a pic while it's still on top of the thread list is pointless.
We are arguing over, and keeping afloat, an otherwise dead thread.
Finally, I stand my previous point about good manners.
Mods can't ban users over a thoughtless grunt.
Were they banning users that liberally, the
