Scotland or England??? Which should i visit?

Why anyone would go to London to eat an american burger and fries is beyond me!

England all the way, then again i may be slightly biased. seriously hough there really are so many things to see around England, most of us don't even get around to seeing most of them. So make the most of it whichever you pick.

ahh i have read the book "September" which takes place in Scotland in the summer..and also another book of Rosamond Pilcher's which takes place in Scotland...always intrigued me..Edinburgh also...

Caernarvon and Caerphilly are both on the Welsh side of the border. The area around Caerphilly also makes a lovely cheese.
And the mountainous Llewellyn country of North Wales is stunning.

I don't recall Scotland having the massive problems england does with flooding? Its only a bad theme park because we dont have our urban white water rapids Yorkshire is good for that sort of thing

so you are all saying go to Scotland? hehe...dayum looks like you either love Scotland or hate it...i'll tell you this much though...it makes for a nice controversy....you know where else i used to wish to visit was China...mainly Beijing....i've read all Pearl Buck's stories, especially i was interested in "Imperial Woman" and have always wanted to see the Forbidden City and the marble bridges, which were described as white...then i saw some pictures of those same bridges and they had faded to gray...

I"m already planning vacation for the summer of 2008, which will be my 30th wedding anniversary...i've always wanted to go to England, but lately have had thoughts of Scotland as well..for those of you who either live in either place or have visited, which would you recommend? i'm not sure i can do justice to both countries if i decided to try them both in one visit...i want this vacation to be super special...as not everyone reaches their thirtieth wedding anniversary...thanks in advance..i need to plan it now..so i can get just the right kind of tour that i want, personalized for us...

Interesting ain't the word for people who get annoyed with you because you won't stop jogging to give them directions, or who come to the Highlands and bemoan the lack of 24-hour facilities like they have back in their hometowns. Those people are twats.
