one of the right stuff guys.. the first to fly the f fifteen back when they weren't sure it would fly... a friendly rival with chuck yeager, another guy who should have been an astronaut, but wasn't allowed because he didn't have a college education.. Scott died in a single plane accident on his way home.. what a way to go.. doing what he loved best..

The first man to pilot the X-15 and to go twice the speed of sound. The fastest man alive was a nickname he was given. He truly had the right stuff.
