Seeking home bondage advice

I just wanted to ask something from the experts here: I'm moving to a new apartment, and I want to install a simple hands-over-head bondage rig, since that's my second favorite tickling position (aside from the classic spread-eagle, I'm not ambitious). I'm thinking like a ring in the ceiling to loop the rope through and a ring in the wall down by the floor to anchor it. Anyone know the best way to install that sort of thing so that it's strong enough that my 'lee won't tear it out? Like how to search the wall and ceiling for support beams to screw the rings into instead of just fragile drywall?

If you don't want to trash the ceiling, consider investing in a good set of four 'over/under the door' cuffs. These consist of four adjustable straps with D-rings to allow the connection of leather or webbing cuffs, each stitched around a section of either a solid wooden or metal-tube dowel (e.g a shower rail) which acts as the 'stopper'. Place two under the open bedroom door, two over it, and then simply shut the door. You then have four immovable attachment points to spread-eagle your lee in a standing position with her arms over her head and feet apart, no drilling or permanent fixing required.

Google 'door cuffs' to get an idea of what they should look like.

I contacted a friend who had an industrial-strength sewing machine and she helped me make a set. We used nylon webbing, two D-rings per strap, a broom handle sawn in four for the stops, and eight of those rubber caps originally designed to fit on chairlegs to stop them damaging the carpet so the door wouldn't get scratched. The materials cost next to nothing.

Ask the maintenance guy for your apt. if he could put up a heavy duty hook for you where you want to do this because you want to hang a heavy "planter". That would take the stress off of you trying to be sure that you do it the right way and alleviate you from liability for the damage you could've done if you did it wrong.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I like DIY projects, so those door cuffs sound like fun to build as well as use. Though I'll also ask the apartment's managers if I'm allowed to put in a hanging-plant hook and plaster over the screw holes when I move out.
