Self tickling

I found that some researchers are researching about laughing and tickling, they say that they are trying to find out why we cannot tickle ourselfs. I think I must be strange as I can do that. Can any of you tickle your selfs or am I alone?

I can do it...I mean..I can feel the sensation of fingers on sensitive skin..but it isn't "tickling" to me.

I can tickle myself, I think a lot of people can, but I can't make myself laugh from it...I think that even if I could, my body would probably involuntarily stop soon afterwards.

To me, there just is too much of a difference between trying to tickle yourself, and being completely defenseless as someone else does it to you. It's just like trying to compare masturbation and sex..you can't do it.

Dats strange......i never thought of tickling myself what a bizarre idea :weird: i prefer way much to tickle 🙂 - semi off topic LOL -

Fascinating! I did speak to one guy who was able to tickle himself while his girlfriend was away by using pieces of her clothing against his skin. He said the sensation was pleasant, but faded quickly, within a few seconds.

I'm not one who will post often, as a matter of fact I have only posted one time, because I don't have much to say to all that I read. I can reply to this because I have seen someone tickle themself, and I have helped out a few who wondered if they could, by giving instrustions and they would try as I was explaining. Kind of a fun little game, to those who wonder. So, yes it can be done. Of course all agree, having it done to them is better, but this way too can be fun. Like it was said, by another reply, just let your brain think it is being done by someone else. Ok time to stop. Considering I do not post much. LOL.
