sending messages

I don't know if my messages are actually being sent. I can type them, send them, but my outbox folder says empty. Does that mean my messages aren't being sent? Thank you.

If I remember correctly, messages sit in the outbox until the recipient reads them, at which time they go to the sent box if you have it set to save a copy after sending. I'm not completely confident that's the whole answer, but you can be assured that the absence of messages in your outbox does not mean that they were not sent.
