September Tickle Time, anyone?

I do know that M and I took this weekend as an opportunity also to go around the NEST hotel space an drop out hints and plans for a September gathering PARTY in the Washington, DC area. I know we've mentioned this before, but we are fully determined to get our act together and make it happen.

I am looking at the first or second weekend of September. Is there anything else big going on those weekends that could conflict?

One thing planning this far ahead can do for us:
Anyone here in the area (Northern VA) that has NOT been to a NEST event still has some time over the summer to get to know us (and we - them) so they might attend.

I do want to start building a mailing list so for those interested please email me at [email protected] and let me know of your interest and location.

The first weekend in September is Labor Day Weekend (an American holiday for all you non-USA residents), if that makes any difference.

Dear, I don't think Kwil was saying we can't host on Labor Day Weekend, just a reminder that is the first weekend of the month. From what I can tell there does not seem to be any current TMF/tickle scene conflicts on the East Coast for that time frame.

And having an extra day may make it easier for anyone driving a bit of a distance, say from North Carolina, Pennsylvania (Connecticut????).

I had such a great time meeting you and Spenser.Thank you both for being the wonderful ambassadors you are for this community,and for sharing your bench,toys,and knowledge with us!I`m hoping I can convince another person or two from NC to join me for this.It would be so fun to make a road trip with others,as does Team Canada! I can`t wait to see everybody again!

A few of us were looking into a little get together here around then...and shooting for Labor Day weekend. But, even if we weren't, we've blown our travel money for the year (aside from one trip we'd already planned). So, we wouldn't be likely to make it down anyway.

I don't think it's a problem to have two smaller events in the same time slot since we're several hours form one another anyway. I say, go for whichever date is better for you...of the one that the largest number of folks can make. If it's the same weekend, we'll just have to call and harrass one another while everyone is togehter! 😉
