Serious tickling machine thread needs support

Without meaning to sound like a prick, I don't think there's much point continuing discussion on this topic until we have a working prototype. Everyone seems to be of the opinion that this isn't possible or if it is it's impractical on either a technical or fiscal level. Fair enough. I was expecting a far worse reception but at least everyone's shown what a mature and civil community this is.

If anyone wants to add to the furtherance of the project I'm keeping a thread updated on Tickle Theater. We could still use a little more electronics experience.

The question is: Are the people working on this prepared to invest the time and money knowing full well it might not work at all? Yes. Do the people here care enough about the possibility to make it worth discussing? No. But thank you for so adroitly pointing out that the effort I've put in so far and intend to keep putting in, both for myself and the rest of the community is probably a waste.

So that no one else fetters away their valuable time telling me something I already know, I AM KEENLY AWARE THAT THIS MAY NOT WORK. I AM PREPARED TO MAKE THE EFFORT REGARDLESS.

If someone can point me to a project with the same goal in mind and the same level of motivation, not to mention the equal or greater brains and skills behind it which failed, please do. Otherwise this will continue to just be a back-and-forth between me and anyone who doesn't believe this will work or doesn't understand how it could work.

And with that final, undignified hissy-fit, I bid you all adieu.

EDIT: And before someone tells me yet again that if I want to seriously attempt this I should look toward high-tech robotic limbs, this project is on a budget; both for the few of us working on its design and ultimately the people we hope will build it for themselves. If it can't be done at a reasonable price it isn't worth talking about.
