I see what you are saying. Tickling is related to sex in that it does arouse some people, but then again, none of us HAVE to act on that arousal. We see posts on here about friends tickling friends...does that mean it has to turn sexual? No. I really don't think anyone is trying to be raunchy about it.

Tickling is fun for us, bottom line. Sex is fun for us too, but there is a line between the two, even if it's a small one.

On the general issue of sexual topics, I figure that as long as such things are clearly indicated in the title then anyone who wants to avoid them can easily do so.

About kids reading this...difficult subject, but I'm not sure how much can really be done. We don't have age verification here so technically any member could be underage and no one would ever know unless the youngster announced it. So there's no way to keep a determined child from even downloading the various video clips that are posted here. I think we just need to recognize that and make it clear at the entry to the site that minors should go no further. It's nothing more than cosmetic, I agree, but appearances are important - since there's no practical way to keep kids out if they want to be here, all we can do is make it clear that we aren't inviting them.

The alternative is to completely sanitize the entire forum - not just the discussion boards but the media boards as well. And I know no one wants to do that: it's important for adults to have a place to discuss adult issues.

I don't think we want the board to become all about the sexuality of it. Some of the best contributors don't find it a sexual thing at all! But many people do and I think there should be room for it.

For the majority of us, tickling is a sexual fetish. It doesn't mean that sex must be involved, but tickling does have many erotic qualities that arouse the libido. I'm not sure that has ever been different here. There are people who claim that tickling is just fun and has no sexual arousal ingredients, but again, I think they are definitely in the minority.

Regarding kids, I'm not really too concerned about kids. They see a lot worse just surfing the net. The TMF doesn't spam or create pop-up adds, so anyone who wants to find us typically has to go looking.

No offense, but I think the room has been made for those who do not find tickling to be sexual, not the other way around. This is a good thing, because everyone is different and has different likes and dislikes. Hooray for diversity.

No offense taken. I wasn't meaning to imply that I thought the board was created for one or the other, just that there should be room for both. In fact, I think there already is room for both and I think it's working just fine.

I really don't know why the board was created- I'm just glad it was!

I have notice a very disturbing trend starting, it’s seems that more and more posts are related to sex and tickling. True tickling can be very sexual, but do we really want to change the makeup of this community to one of a pay site?

I believe most people like me join because they been looking for someplace to go and don’t’ have to worry about sexual under tones. There are many groups on Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Google that’s related to tickling / sex sites. Do we really want to change this into one of them?

It’s been a well proven fact that when sex is introduced into situation things will definitely change

Sex will always be a part of tickling for someone and I don't think this site has enough sex involved to even be compared to yahoo, AOL, google or any other site. I do agree that if the thread is sexual in nature it should state it in the title for people who are easily offended or do not find tickling sexual!
