Hey man, I just wanted to say thanks for recommending George R.R. Martin a while back. I just spent two weeks on ship with nothing but a copy of A Game of Thrones to keep me entertained, and you were right. That book was SOOOO good! I love how his characters seem so human and realistic. Even though it's written in 3rd person, each chapter is still written in a way that you get a deep look at what that individual character is thinking, and he does it really well. You were right that this definitely beats the crap out of Dragonlance. I'm about to start reading A Clash of Kings tonight. If free time permits, I should be done with it before I go on ship, again, where I've already seen a copy of A Storm of Swords in the ship's library. I should be set for a while. Thanks again, man.
