Hey guys, I thought it was time I posted something positive here and stopped my cyrin' for a minute. I apologize if this is a repost but I was way too lazy to go through all 500+ pages of general discussion to see if this topic had been posted already. So if it has then forgive me. 🙂 But if not.......show us your tatts and tell us what they signifay, if anything!!

I have 11 and since I only get to post 5 pics at a time, here's what the first batch means:
1: triabl on my right arm/shoulder, my very first. originally the design was long and thin, so i told my artist to make it short and fat.....like me!! HHHAAA!!!

2: this is one of my favs and the one that has the most significance for me. this is a replicated design of one of the patches that we wear on our martial arts uniform for my style/organization. i've been practicing since i was in high school.

3: claw marks for the word "sacrifice". which, for me, means personal sacrifice. not goat, chicken and virgin sacrifice, get your mind outta the gutter will ya?

4 - 7: japanese kanji characters for the words "courage" and "honor". i don't remember which one is which and yes, i am sure of the translation. those are my most recent and if you look close, you can see that my artist did it in brush-stroke style, as in caligraphy. she just asked me if i wanted it that way, i hadn't even thought of it, but i'm glad she suggested it because i love the way they came out!

here are the remainders:

8: the gangrel vampire clan wolf-head. i am really in to vampires, have been since i was a kid. movies mostly, i don't live the vampy lifestyle or anything. the red writing you see on the inside of the design are clawmarks for the word "wolf".

9 - 10 clawmarks for the 2 planets that rule my astrological sign, which is aquarius. the marks are for saturn and uranus (say it right, damnit!) as with the kanji, i don't remember which is which. it had been quite a while between getting my wolf's head and these, so my body had gotten un-used to the pain involved. halfway through the outline of the bottom one, i passed out! true story.

11: clawmark/tribal for my astrological sign. this was the first one that my new artist did on me.

I'm getting Batman on the other side sooner or later (ie:when I have the money, I'll probably use some of my tax refund to do the first sitting), and then a background for both figures. When the whole thing's done, it's probably going to cover the majority of my back. This was taken right after it was done, so the colors are super-saturated. I've got a couple of smaller ones on my arms as well, but I don't have any photos of those lying around at the moment.

Four tattoos and counting...

1. Druid symbol for "inspiration" called an Awen. I want to be a writer so I got it on the hand I write with.

2. Roman numeral 7. Me and two friends got these because we all met in 7th grade. Kind of stupid, now that I think about it.

3. "To thine ownself be true." My favorite quote from my favorite Shakespeare play "Hamlet." Kind of self-explanatory.

4. Gaelic symbol called Triquetra. I got it to represent the connection and closeness that me and my two younger sisters have. Each one of us represented by a corner of the triangle figure.

I'd been thinking of adding a word balloon with Tattoo shouting his trademark, "De plane! De plane!" But I thought it looked classier this way.

Don't ask where I put Ricardo Montalban. 😉

Next? The chicks from Russian pop duo "Tatu", on my lower back, of course. 😀

Not really a tatt, but what we call, in my style of martial art, a Kenpo tattoo. I've been at our regional seminars the last couple days, today is the last day. Lots of fun beating on each other and getting the marks to prove it. After a while, you start to like it. We're a strange group of people, let me tell you. Maybe they should make medication specifically for us!

Number 1 was the chicago blackhawks shoulder logo with is the chicago C with two tomahawks crossing thru them
Number 2 was the NIU huskies dog head.
Number 3 is CFH which stands for Cowboys from hell, a tribute to pantera\dimebag after he was murdered.

I am planning on getting another one in a few weeks, im putting Mjolnir(hammer of thor) and having 4-5 Nordic rune symbols surrounding it.

Sometime after that i will hope to find the dragon design for my back and prob getting one more pantera\dime related tattoo

awww nice tats everyone... I do have one .. a butterfly with the wings beeing the american flag... on left ankle.. I cant post them for it comes too big for this stupid thig to accept.. so I will in next few days email to fft or falcon and have one of them post it for me since I dont know how to do an attached thingy thumbprint.. so you will have to waite to see them.. hugsssssssssssss.... ps dont forget to go vote for me as official hugger/greeter..
