In todays world, Black Friday is no longer enough. Wal-Mart, Target and many retailers will open Thanksgiving evening for gods sake. Will the madness ever end?

I am so glad that I don't participate in this nonsense and if I worked in retail, I'd dare them to have me working on Thanksgiving Day. I'd tell them they were violating my religious freedom then sue.......why?? Just because........

We are open every day of the year including Christmas....retail is as retail does....if no one shopped the stores wouldnt open...

I won't be anywhere close to a mall on Black Friday. Unfortunately, I'm sure we will all be reading about more than one "incident" where someone gets trampled or something stupid like that.

There are no such Christmas shopping deals here north of the border. Consequently a lot of people I know drive across the border to get cheap gifts. I tried this once, but the five kilometer lineup to the border made me think it'd be a bad idea.

Christmas decorations go up here as soon as Halloween decorations come down. At least wait till veteran's day...
