Signature Images

Whenever I click on insert image, it tells me to insert the text to be formatted. How would I go about converting the image I have to a suitable text?

First, you need to have the image you want to use hosted on a website that will allow direct image linking. Most of the free ones won't, but you may have your own paid webspace.

If you don't have the image hosted somewhere, you can host it at image shack: http://imageshack.us

Once you upload the image to them, they will give you a code to copy and paste onto the forum here so the image will show up in your signature. I tend to use the code they give you labelled "Hot Link For Forums 1". Copy the code, go into "Edit Signature" here on the forum, and paste that code in to the space provided. Hit "save" and you're set. Make sure the box that says "show your signature" is checked when you reply to a thread on the forum and it should be there with every post from now on.
