Signature Pics slowing down the forum ?

Far be it far me to be the one with no sense of humour (but that's how I am so that's how it comes out). The problem here is as much as I enjoy seeing all the various signature pics (especially Stephs), I am finding pages are taking longer and longer to load (especially threads with a lot of replies from the same people with large sig pix). Yes before you ask I am on broadband.

Perhaps there might be a way to arrange it so that a signature picture only comes out once in a thread from the same person ?

There's no realistic way to arrange that, but you can disable signatures in your user CP if you want to.

I know I have sig pics turned off at my computer at work. For me, I don't really find any diff in the load time, but that's just my experience...

Thanks Jeff, I didn't realise I could do that. I have just located the USER CP, and the disable signature pics has worked.

Awww Steph, if only there was a way to disable everyone elses whilst still keeping yours !
