Signature problem

I made a gif file to use as signature . I clicked on edit signature on the user CP , clicked on insert image . Placed there the address of the place were I uploaded the sig. .
The address appeared between 2 of these : .
Yet it does not appear here . What am I doing wrong ?

There's no need to post a thread to test your signature. When at the "Edit Signature" page, look next to the "Save Signature" button. See one that says "Preview Signature?" Well, it does just what it says, and will allow you to preview your signature without having to post anything.
