i want to post a signature... but i dont understand all the codes you have to type can you give me a example on how to do it please PaB

Ah, I see. It uses the same codes as regular posting. Examples ahoy:

To put an image in your sig, use the img brackets.  [img]YOUR IMAGE'S URL HERE[/img]
 And to post a Link (Or to make your image a link), put whatever needs to be linked (Text, an image, etc) in url brackets.  [url]WHAT NEEDS TO BE LINKED HERE[/url]

I would also add that if you want an image in your signature, it has to be on a server that allows hotlinking (such as http://clubs.wanadoo.co.uk/index.cfm? ).
