My favorite topic in the whole wide world
🙂
I'm always thrilled when someone brings up the topic of unintentional tickling. Here are a few threads I've started on it in the past, in case you're interested
🙂
doctor tickles, pedicures, massages and other "accidental" tickles
things that aren't supposed to tickle....but do 🙂
Unintentional tickles
Patdowns
You'll also find if you search my started threads, that I've posted a plethora of both true and fictional stories centered around unintentional tickling, primarily about girlfriends over the years.
So...I could talk and write about this subject for hours.
For now I suppose I'll stick with the question you asked. Even though I tend to be more interested in sharing stories of these kinds of scenarios happening to my girlfriend, ex-girlfriends, and female friends (and have countless ones like that up my sleeve), this actually happens to me a lot. There are so many of these kinds of scenarios and they ALWAYS make me think about the same thing you mentioned: "So many people have to go through this, and I can't imagine it isn't excruciatingly ticklish for just about every single person!" Here are some instances I've experienced:
-Pat-downs entering concerts. I mean...it's basically a tickling session, right? They swipe, stroke, and feel around all of your most ticklish spots!! It's almost unbearable for my in the tummy and waistline area.
-Speaking of the tummy and waistline area, suit fittings or a trip to the tailor usually have an extremely ticklish moment when the tailor reaches into the pants at the waist to feel how tightly fitting they are. This area is by far my most ticklish spot and it's literally agonizing for me when they do this, but it lasts only a few seconds.
-Doctors abdominal exams. My favorite to hear about....though awkward to endure myself. Not as bad as they used to be when I was young....when they were very hard to take.
-Professional massages. For me this usually gets unbearable when they work on my legs (upper thighs, calves) and feet.
-Occasionally a friend will walk by me and in an affectionate/bro-like kind of pat my stomach, as a kind of just greeting or acknowledgement. But my stomach is so ticklish that I usually embarrassingly have to flinch or grab their hand. Once this happened and the guy later asked me if I had some kind of injury to that area because of the way I protected it so instinctively when he went to touch it.
-At acupuncture sessions, sometimes the acupuncturist feeling around for just the right spot to place the needle tickles a lot if they're doing it on my stomach or chest. Several years ago an acupuncturist was doing that on my chest area and noticed me jump and asked if I was ticklish....so embarrassing...
-I've had physical therapy on my knee and have had to endure some pretty ticklish massage work there (like, "please let this end please let this end i don't know what to do i dont know what to do i cant take this") and even some feeling around/pressure on my abdomen which tickled like crazy too.
-I've even been
tickled by a pot handle once.
My girlfriend gets accidentally tickled all the time, especially when people put their arm around her either as a greeting or to take a picture.
Here's one such story, but it's happened several times since.
That's probably good for now...thanks so much for bringing this topic up and I hope we can continue
🙂
