I will reiterate my idea of getting them (GSN) to upload the additional (raw?!) footage. Ask and ye shall receive, right? I bet if just 10 of us sent them requests they'd upload that additional video. Maybe even less. Five? (But you've got to sound NORMAL, not weird.)
Something like:
"Loved the foot painting challenge at last season's final episode! Can I make a request that you post additional footage? Would love to see more of it! Really enjoy Skin Wars btw and hope there's a third season!"
or
"Can you release a longer, web-only version of the foot painting challenge? There's 90 minutes of footage? How about an hour's worth! lol. Love the show!"
or
"Please post additional footage (ha ha) online of the foot painting challenge from last season's final episode. That was the funniest and coolest challenge you guys have ever come up with!"
or
"Can you guys put extended versions of some of the footage of some of your challenges from this most recent season? Would love to see more of the pregnant bellies one and the foot one, those were brilliant!"
