Do you have good sleep, or bad sleep ?

-- Insomnia,,, just staying awake for no good reason

-- Nightmares (no, we don't want to hear the details)

-- Biological abnormailities (e.g. bedwetting, loss of control)

-- Digestive interruptions (e.g., heartburn that awakens you)

-- Anything that you personally consider bad



<B>Good sleep may or may not include,,,, </B>

-- A quick two-minute trip in the middle of the night to go pee; that can be considered a part of normal healthy sleep.

-- "Weird" dreams. These are okay. If the dream is not frightening, it counts as good sleep.

I'm sleeping much better now that I take Prevacid to control acid reflux. So I'm now in the 2 to 10% problem range.
 
I never sleep well. Dont think I ever have. When I was a teenager I went through a period where I would sleep late on weekends to catch up from having to wake up at 6am every morning for school. Since Iam an adult, my sleep is erratic. In college, I would usually go to sleep late and get up late. Since graduation, I have had erratic sleep patterns due to my work. In the last few years, I have gone to bed late and gotten up early, but would sometimes supplement that with a late afternoon nap, and then work late into the night, because I work at home, and dont have to "punch a time clock", except for meetings, business calls, or seminars. In the last couple of months, with my mother's cancer scare, and father's heart problems, I seem to be sleeping even less, and unable to even rest for a nap, or at any time at night. Iam restless and jumpy, I guess due to the circumstances. Okay, P, now that I gave you my whole life's sleep history! LOL! Let's just say that over the course of my life, my sleep has been highly erratic, and my mom says that I have never been a good sleeper.

Basically I have bad sleep. At times, serious insomnia sets in and I barely get 5 or 6 good solid uninturpted hours nightly on average.

The mind just never wants to shut down and rest.:wow: :sowrong: 😱
