Hmmmm, dunno Tom. But, I'd be cautious about doing this if I were them. There's still added strain on other parts of the ankle and leg from wearing shoes like those they showed. Padding the ball of the foot is only a way to relieve discomfort there. I'll bet you'll see much more problems cropping up with ankles, shins, calves, knees, etc. as we get down the road a couple of years.
