I'll start, I'm ticklish on my Feet mostly, and I'd say pretty darn ticklish ^^ . Also on my sides and tummy! And once Someone ran their finger up my spine, that was pretty tickly too!

I'm not all that ticklish anywhere except my feet and toes, unless you hit some certain spots. But I'll keep those to myself. 😉 Also, go for the feet all you want, but watch the toes unless you're trying to make me orgasm VERRRRY quickly. Since most lers probably arn't, I'd advise you to remember that. 😉

As for how ticklish...

Deathly. But again, only on my feet. Not very ticklish elsewhere. Still ticklish though.

Well I get tickled a bit more than the average I guess, and I'm ticklish pretty much anywhere. What's weird is that it sort of comes and goes - sometimes I'm very ticklish and sometimes I'm hardly ticklish at all. I can't pinpoint what dictates it, though I do tend to be more responsive to someone I'm attracted to. It's weird! Given the right conditions I can lie and be tickled for a LONG time.

Oh, and I'm most ticklish on my feet, I think. It's where I like it most, anyhow 😉

im so ticklish the palms of my hands are ticklish. My most ticklish places are my breasts, my thighs and definatly my feet. However the back of my knees tickle the worst! but i get panicky whenever they get tickled. Like crying begging want to die feeling lol. scale of one to ten im a 11 i swear! im so ticklish that sometimes just walking on the carpet alone will tickle me so i have to wear socks alot. But thats sometimes...like not all the time when iwalk on the carpet....like maybe 3 days it happens out of a week...dunno.

You might take this as a joke, but skin-deep is only one of the three kinds of known tickling sensations, as defined by some researcher [some Dr Insabato guy].

Other two being flesh-deep, such as when sides get pinched, and, roughly speaking, muscle-deep when armpits are being pressed.

I don't know how much credit we can give to stories of tickling used in interrogations.

It would make sense, since torture was legally allowed, mandatory even, when dealing with slaves.
You wouldn't want to shred your chambermaid or a well-read secretary to ribbons for something minor as a misplaced pendant, so tickling could enter the picture.

But it's not something you readily find in academic libraries...
So I have to stand neutral on that. 😉

This Insabato guy, on the other hand, wrote a whole essay, telling how he got these inmates, had them restrained on beds, and went on to tickle them, jotting down their reactions.

His whole aim was demonstrating that madmen [and madwomen], being such, reacted in a weird fashion to tickling as well as to other physical stimuli.

The research isn't without credit, but he tried that on too small a number of subjects - in particular he only used two "normal" assistants as a basis to compare inmates' ticklishness with.

All in all, he seemed more sadistic than really concerned about neural conditions.
