So what are you doing today?

I am at home with my kids, it is a video movie day. Sitting here in my sweats! I am make a ham dinner and mashed potatoes for dinner! LOL very kosher!

I used to go to Atlantic City on the bus every Xmas day for 6 years from the time I turned 21 in 1991 until 1996 when I lived in NJ. It became a tradition.
My plans usually depend on my friend Russ' schedule on Xmas day, because he is my one Jewish friend down here. Last year we had chinese food and saw Cheaper by the Dozen, but today he has to work, so last night we went out for a chinese buffet, and to a movie. Today I'll just be sleeping, doing laundry, and eating home.
Have a great relaxing day, Jpie with your family. I think Iam going to go take a nap! ZZZZ!

Well, I'm not Jewish and am going to family dinner later, but....

I'm not really into the commercial aspects given to the Christmas holdiay. I've been talking to my kids about this and have decided to take the stress out of future holidays by buying gift cards and letting them do it themselves after Christmas.

I wish I could just have a very quiet and reverential holiday instead of the stress, hustling, and bustling for people who expect it and generally don't appreciate it.

Usually I do what most Jews I know do - go see a movie and eat Chinese food.

This year I'm sitting in my uni residence working on an essay that's due after the break and trying to get over a cold. At least I've got my non-Christian friends on MSN, my TMF and a mild English xmas rather than the 10 cm of snow that Toronto got.
