A SilentButDeadly post from February that got recent responses today prompts me to ask this question out of curiosity. Of course, people can respond however they want, but I’m hoping for a nonjudgmental vote.

The hypothetical is, as option A, you have plenty of money to do as many paid sessions as you want, so you could tickle a different pro dom (or escort) as often as you want, and the $ spent have no impact on the rest of your life. Still plenty of $ to pay the mortgage, go on the vacations you go on, etc. These individuals do a good job of seeming to genuinely enjoy the sessions, but you know that if you said you couldn’t pay any more, you probably wouldn’t have any more sessions.

Or, as option B, you have the opportunity to be in a lifelong relationship, with someone who is attractive but not gorgeous, will indulge your fetish with some enthusiasm because she likes it and knows that you love it, but is not okay with you ever tickling/being tickled by anyone else (and assume you would honor that limitation).

Of course, the societally correct answer is B. But which would you choose? Let’s leave out the aspect of B that you have a life partner in other respects. Just on the tickling front, which do you prefer?

a. i have b now, and it is wonderful, but it wasn't always that way! i wouldn't trade my wife for anything, but, i'd like to try a.

Why is there no option for being in a relationship with someone that is into tickling and also lets you play with others? lol

a. Paying to experience your fantasies is an exhilarating and fulfilling way to explore your fetish. It gives you the flexibility to do things that you wouldn't necessarily get to do in a solid, monogamous relationship. For example, a soapy tickle session with two girls in shower.

b. Beyond the loving relationship and all the bells and whistles that come with it, having someone who knows you sexually inside out is exciting. Your partner knows exactly where to tickle you, just how you like it and does it with such expertise and precision you are jelly under their fingers. They crave your tickly touch when you get home from work and surprise you with opportunities to tickle them on a daily basis.

In the real world every situation is unique. Everyone is different and the outcomes are all drawn from your own feelings and views. Having experienced both personally, to answer the question straight I'd choose b. Theres a much stronger connection between both partners that give play time a deeper, more fun experience.

...when shes not busy finding an escort for you both to visit together amiright? lol 😀

This is tough...I want both!! XD why is this not an option??

Definitely A. you have to have variety. tickling one woman for life? seriously? :banghead:

I would choose a.
Why is there no option for being in a relationship with someone that is into tickling and also lets you play with others? lol
Because that is obviously better than a. or b.

Because the point of the question is to ask, if you can’t have everything, which would you choose? Of course, just about anyone would choose that option!

Exactly. Stupid poll. Have more options for answers.

The point of the poll is to see which of two directions people value more. So, not “stupid,” and if you don’t want to participate, you don’t have to!

So, the final results! 2 for a, 2 for b. The “a’s” seemed unhesitant, the “b’s” acknowledged the allure of both options. Ok, not a statistically significant sample size, but I like it, because when I posted this, I thought that I would have a tough time deciding between those options, and was curious on how others viewed it.

This is a very biased question. Not even sure what to make of the two choices. However, I would rather go with B. I mean, idealistically paying someone to be tickled sounds great but I mean they're being PAID to do it. More than likely they will just pretend to be tickled just for the sake of getting money. So, I would prefer to settle down with a nice honey that would be as into tickling as I am. That's all I really need.

I disagree with the assumption that doms who are paid generally pretend. First, I think most people are ticklish, if the “Ler” knows what s/he is doing. Second, I think people who are into it can tell when someone is faking. Third, a pro-dom is like anyone else -- you can find some that you connect with better than others. From the dom’s perspective, she’s being paid, but they generally draw lines at what they will/won’t do, and generally like some clients more than others. Fourth, I think that a LOT of doms think that faking is beneath them.

I agree with Chicago 100% on the idea that one should never have to settle. I knew a closed relationship would never work for me. I am lucky to be in a relationship with a guy I met off FetLife where I am allowed to screw/play with others and he is as well. We've been happily together for over two years. We're even planning to get married(Yeah we don't really believe in the institution of marriage, but it will make our life easier and we're going to have a court house wedding). I only really play solo at play parties/ kink events nowadays. I am also a pro-switch who is now working at a dungeon in Philly. My boyfriend knows what I do and is a okay with me playing with others. I started off in the lifestyle first and then became a pro.

You don't need plenty of money to have paid sessions. I've had some sessions for as low as 80 dollars for an hour. Just don't go to the movies or eat out for a week lol

For me, until I am in a relationship with someone from the community, I'll stick with the paid session option

I have to respectfully disagree. We have two attractive young women saying, “you don’t have to settle” and can hold out for a relationship with someone who (1) shares the tickling fetish and indulges it well, AND (2) is okay with you playing with others, too. I think that’s true -- IF you are an attractive young woman. Looking at the guys’ posts on TMF over the years yields the inescapable conclusion that if you are a guy, you MAY find someone who shares the tickling fetish, but the odds are against you. By a lot. So, if a guy finds a woman who is great for him generally, and shares the fetish, but is NOT okay with him playing with others, I think he’d be nuts to move on, holding out for someone who also is okay with him playing with others.

@Chicago - But thats how society works. Women have the pick and choice of every man and unsurprisingly, they go for the most attractive, fit, wealthy, experienced fetishists, etc. Thats option B. If men want to have the same options, we have to pay for it with escorts - option A. Men who aren't willing to put the time and effort in to become the top of their gender and instead demand entitlement to a woman will only ever have option A. TMF 101 lol 🙂
