Check out the first part of this cracked article. It deals with research done into fetishes and first on the list is feet. Apparently scientists have concluded it's the most common fetish among other things.

Great article - with as many people as they say, it's more normal than most would think.

Esp this line, "the link between feet and sexual arousal is a direct result of the feet sharing the same sensory cortex as the genitals." - coupled with the evolutionary explanation about syphilis etc/. and no wonder it lingers to this day.
