Someone Tickles you irl but also makes you laugh in general - “cheating advantage”

Ok here me out on this one, complete fantasy, but my new boss is hilarious in a good way, really nice, and I’m starting to develop a similar working relationship with her like with my former one. My former one is getting along really well with the new one, but she is gorgeous, has long nails and can make me laugh as well.

Wouldn’t that be a “cheating advantage” if they can make me laugh in real life as opposed to just tickling?

I can’t even imagine both of their banter if they both tickled me - one has nails, one doesn’t, “ let’s see who can make her laugh louder?!”
Boss 2: “ oh wait , you have longer nails than I do, drag them on her feet!”
Me: NO!!! You wouldn’t dare…. This is gonna be terrible!
Boss 1: I go for the feet, you go for the ribs, you have the perfect nails for digging in there- I think she broke them once . Gotta make sure they’re in tact still, wink.
Boss 2: hello Kay Kay ( she calls me that & I start laughing) you ready?!
Me: OMG! I’m almost crying , be nice….
Boss 2: I didn’t touch you yet ( wringing her tips near my ribs) & Boss 1 is ready to pounce on my feet with her nails in position. She had that “look” on her face & smile.
Boss 1: I didn’t even touch you- drags one nail down my foot… & Boss 2 one poke in my rib.
Me: God you’re both good ok?! Are we done?!
Both bosses laughing hysterically & high fiving.

Fun fantasy 🙂 Yes! That would make it so much worse (better?)! A part of the brain responsible for processing humor is often involved with the processing and reactions to tickling. If it's already activated by actual humor before or during tickling, it can make it so much easier to get someone hysterical. I have to be careful–If my wife catches me in a moment where I've found something especially funny, she'll pounce on me, in part because the laughter makes her think of tickling, but in larger part because she knows it makes me so much more ticklish. I also take advantage of it when I can in sessions with her, doing occasional silly things to make her laugh, thereby making her much more sensitive and reactive. It's so weird how well it works sometimes.

It is definitely cheating if the person can crack you up without laying a finger on you.
Equally unfair if you are like me, and laughter is a weakness for you (no matter whom is laughing). Once I start really losing it, I am done for. And no one has to touch me to get me that way.

My new boss has a really great laugh too so that’s a bonus. It might get to the point of “where you going?” and “ we’re gonna have to hold her down/ we got a squirmer…”

Ok so no joke it REALLY happened! However remained professional as it was in a work setting, but the background was in a sad circumstance reality. Their boss experienced an unexpected death in her family late June, both Boss 1 & 2, going to wake & funeral tomorrow & weekend and were in building. I found sticky notes & note pads that I thought were creatively well written & useful for them using decision making for interviews, planning priorities, positivity messages- what they need to get through the weekend & beyond. It was just the three of us mind you.

Gave it to Boss 2, Boss 1 looking and both laughing at the messages & thoughtfulness. Boss 2 said “ Thank you Kay Kay”, and at the same time, she took her short but obviously very effective nails and squeezed my arm/ ran her nails for like 10 seconds over my short sleeve work shirt and smiled ! OMG! One wouldn’t think but it tickled so freakin bad while Boss 1 looked on and I just said you’re welcome. Now mind you I was THIS close with NO nails to losing it, but if Boss 1 did that WITH nails & luckily she cut them, it would’ve been all over & into a crouching position on the ground for me or literally going into Boss 2 🤣
