So to spare you a long complex story theres this girl i know, who has made a few hints that shes interested in hooking up when were both back home for the holidays, and she asked my opinion on underwear colors claiming it was for her "friend", and after some consultig with one of my more lady-saavy friends took this to mean "pick out your xmas present". So here i am asking for a second opinion just to make sure. And for all you footguys she asked my advice on shoes as well 😉. Also theres no chance she thinks im gay, i know one of you smart asses wants to write that lol

Pick the foot wear you like, pick the underwear you'd like on her, and then sit back and wait and see what happens. If she shows up to your room wearing such, great. If not, your out little. Don't every try and thing you can understand the mind of a women.

Without those "hints" you mentioned it's tough to say what she means by asking what color underwear to wear. The correct answer of course is "none". But I digress. Context is everything. My buddy might say "wear white tighty whitey underwear". On the surface it sounds homo erotic. But in the context of the both us going to bootcamp, and that's the only allowed underwear there it makes sense and it's clear it's not homo erotic.

Buying undergarments for a woman is a minefield- you have your choice of:

Too large (she infers you think she's fat and are sizing accordingly)

Too small (she infers you're indirectly telling her she's fat and needs to lose weight to fit what you've bought her)

Too tarty (she infers you think she's a **********) or

Too maidenly (she infers you think she's undesirable).

Basically she's evaluating your opinion of her. Woe betide you if you get it wrong, (including colours- you're supposed to know which shades will suit her skintone) and she won't give you much help- you're just supposed to KNOW somehow.

In a worst-case scenario she wants male advice on underwear she's buying with her boyfriend in mind.

In a best-case scenario it's because she's buying it with you in mind. 😀

So...offer to go lingerie shopping with her, telling her that your expertise is at her disposal if she promises to model the lingerie for you in the changing room (this has worked for me, but put the proposition to her calmly and with style) and then if she agrees, tell her that you'll choose one additional item/set for her Xmas present. That way you already know her taste, and have a chance of getting it right. As a general rule, NEVER buy anything synthetic; silk is best, and can be quite reasonable in price. This includes silk stockings- try Ebay for those and target the Far Eastern retailers for the best price.

If she asks how would this lingerie look?, do not put it on the floor to show her..If she asks for diamonds, buy her a deck of cards.... If she wants to go shopping remeber what a zoo the stores are this time of the year. My advice is free and definitely overpriced.
