This may sound strange and silly but in the uk we hear the saying mainly in films and books of: "god damned son of a bitch"

But you never hear anything about "god damned daughter of a bitch"

I refer to myself as (bondage bitch) well that is what my victims have called me mainly when leaving the room while they are still bound 🙂

In the animal world the opposite to bitch would be dog.

Any takes on this is there a us speak that refers to a derogatory term for a woman similar to the "son of a bitch " term.

True, that. I have also heard guys called slut and *****, but in the traditional usage it applies only to women so far as I know. Language is ever changing. I find them distasteful in any case.

In Australia you hear the term 'tart' used, which is another slang term for prostitute... I reckon the term ***** is used here for the same thing that son of a bitch is used for. Like when you're driving, and a woman driver won't give way, it's like "The stupid ***** won't let me through." lol. Or like in Mean Girls, when Karen pretended she was sick so she didn't have to go go out with Regina, she exclaimed, "Boo, you *****!"

Most derogatory terms for women I've found refers to a woman's promiscuity and their 'looseness'.

Actually now I think about it, even if a guy calls his girlfriend, 'woman' it is considered to be derogatory. 😛

I guess it's used two ways. Sometimes when a guy upsets you, you'll say something like, "You son of a bitch!" like if he broke something of yours or hurt someone you care about or just said something stupid to you.. Although it's used in a way not directed at anyone, like when something goes wrong. Like an Oh no type moment I guess. If you break something of yours or if you lose a race or something, you'll say "Son of a bitch!" as an exclamation of being displeased.

If it's directed at a girl, you just say Bitch, not son of a bitch... although I don't know exactly where the expression son of a bitch came from, it's like it's not insulting the person, it's insulting the mother and it's like the person got his bad attitude or whatever from his mom so you're calling him a son of a bitch, inulting her.

I don't know why daughter of a bitch isn't used. It just isn't.

While people are right, that "bitch" is usually used for a woman, in reality, "Son Of A Bitch", can really be a double sword insult. It is an insult to the person (male) themselves, and.. technically.. their mother. The person (guy) is a Son.. of A Bitch.

I knew a couple of people who both terms would describe. They themselves were/are sons of bitches, and their mothers are bitches, evil women.. soo..
