OMG, I cannot STAND that damned "Bubbly" song by Colbie Caillat. Makes me want to poke my fingers in my ears until my eardums rupture.
Or that horrid "Waiting On The World To Change" by John Mayer (what an appropriate anthem for people who want to bitch about everything but not do anything themselves to change it). Or "Say What You Need To Say", same guy--which might have had a shot at being decent if he'd figured out something to sing besides the title over and over and over and over, ad infinitum, ad nauseum...
And that gibberish song that made Kid Rock popular in the first place, which I heard until I was near wearing an "I-Love-Me" jacket, thanks to my obsessive son. (I still get a nervous tic in my eye when I hear it these days.)

I think that is one of the few songs on the radio that will compel me to scream "shut the fuck up!" at the top of my lungs in my car, regardless of the fact that I am the only one inside. I figure that it is why it got so much air time. It had nothing to do with actually making a change. It had to do with subtle conformity.

I never liked John Mayer to begin with. As I have said before, "That stupid bastard is the living example of why narcolepsy and record deals just don't mix."
One song I have a problem with is from Suicidal Tendencies Lights, Camera, Revelution Disc. The song is "Can't bring me Down."
Now, I would like to stress that I don't actually HATE this song, but I find it frustrating that it has been touted as "THE" Rock anthem of their entire repotioir. or rock music in general.
It's like nobody has ever listened to anything on the rest of that album...Aside from "Send me your Money."
As far as I'm concerned, "Lost Again" totally blows it out ouf the sky!
THAT is the best bit on the disc!

How about that newish U2 song, the one that starts out "Uno, dos, tres, catorce." First, an Irish band should not be singing in Spanish. Second, if you're going to sing in Spanish, make sure you're not counting off, 1, 2, 3, 14.
