How do you save an image from a clip, Mortais ?
I usualy try the "Print Screen" key but it often saves a black screen :-(

I, too, would like to know what you and others use. I get the same
result using Paint Shop Pro, unless I capture the whole screen, and
then crop the video still out of it. And even then, I still get a black
window, if I don't do it in a certain order. Must be an easier way...

hey guys thanks again for your response........im really new at this so im not a computer wizz at all, but if you have( media player classic) and as long as the file/clip plays by it,under file you have a save image,it may save it in bitmap, then use paint shop pro to open image then save as and change it to jpeg. i hope this is understandable and i hope it works🙂

dunno if it will work(does for me) press print screen a few times then paste the pic an it should shoe the pic instead of being black

I would try your solution, but there isn't any "Save image" option on "File" menu :-( I've got Windows Media Player 9.

There is a program called EZV video capture..its very good at saving still frames from videos..its easy to find, just google it. You get 7 free days when u download it..and if u want more..you have to either buy it or crack it.

hi cynthia massol...........this is what i use..its called ace mega codecs pack 6.01,its a big file almost 45 mb. but it carries a massive amount of codecs, also it comes with media player classic the one that i use for imaging , its up to you , ( i use it myself ), i think the site is called et planet.com.net.org...if you deside to try let me know what you think.... 🙂
