Speedy meals!

In-N-Out Burger. Tasty n delightful.

Bingo. Every visit to Vegas includes a meal or two at In N Out. The fact that they have a secret menu makes it even cooler.

I'll take a 3x3, animal style, hold the tomato, with well-done fries, and a DIET coke with lemons.

Dave

I thought you were from Kentucky?

I live in Kentucky, across the river from Cincinnati. Skyline has franchised all the way from Louisville to Indianapolis and the surrounding area. Google for their website and you can get a good very of their 3-ways and coneys

I like Arbey's roast beef melts, Burger King's whopper, Chick Fil-a's chicken sandwichs after I add a lot of ketchup and mayo on them (I wish they put cheese on them), and Blimpie's Philly cheese steak subs.

When it comes to local places here, my step-dad owns his own pizza and sub place and both are great, especially his subs. He makes 15 different subs. You can get hot wings at his place too.

Also, there is a sub and sandwich place where Meka works and there stuff is good too. She always eats there stuff on the days she is there.

So what happened with that burek's Sammi? You treating or not? 😛

My stomach continually resigns in protest after eating from any fast-food place so I've gave up on them entirely a couple of years ago...that and I know a few things about such places no human should ever learn yet need to know. :S

I'm with Big Dogg on that. The only thing I would have at a fast-food place is coffee or a salad.

As a kid I loved just about any fastfood place with Carl Jr's being a favorite. Now a days, I try to stay from fast food but I do like Subway sandwiches and white chocolate chip and macadamia (sp?) nut cookies.

The biggest problem I've found with staying away from fast food is that anything else can be terribly expensive when you live on as little cash as I do. But it all works out well enough as long as I watch my calories. I can usually fit in a couple of burgers if I don't really eat anything else that day. >_>

You know, you can live on some pretty decadent food just by cooking at home. It's less expensive too.

Less expensive in the long run, as you buy for several days worth of meals. But that does require spending a chunk of cash up front to buy groceries. That's where I tend to run into trouble. I'm a beast in the kitchen, and end up wanting to grab lots of stuff at the store. n_n;;

I just grab the largest trolley I can find and run around the store filling it with all sorts of junk.:super_hap

I dont really need most of it, but if I like the look of something thn I just gotta buy it.

I really need more self control.

Don't go to the grocery store hungry. It can be a disastrous mistake.

Or a blessing in disguise... no no wait I agree with you.

I find the grocery store is my best friend, cuz I can make better, tastier and more filling meals than fast-food. (Even Subway, where managers will do anything to save a buck...) The best part is that I can trust it because I made it...that and in reality: grocery store is much cheaper than eating out so often, it's all about rationing and moderation. 🙂

I enjoy cooking myself but will indulge in fast food about once a week or so, usually Arby's. Its hard to mess up a roast beef sandwich and they are not too bad for you.

Fast food... ooh, for you UK people there's the most awesome fast food place in Manchester called Bar Burrito, it's like the Mexican version of Subway as in you go along the counter and load up your burrito with whatever you want and then can make it into a meal with drink and nachos, it's frickin' awesome.

Aside from that, I do like Subway and I do like Nandos... everything else falls into some vague category that I have a craving for every once in a blue moon because I haven't had much grease for a while and then I just home in to the nearest kebab place. X)

Dude, I used to work in a burrito bar in town called the Flying Burrito. I hated working there, but the food's still really damn good. Ate there last night, in fact. n_n

I have not heard of most of those places other than McDonalds.

I used to eat either at McDonalds, KFC, Burger King or Pizza Hut, but these days nothing beats a healthy sub from Subway.

oh man, i worked at subway, don't get me started on that!

my favorite is Krystals, hands down. as for subs, Firehouse subs takes the cake, better than subway, Larry's Giant subs.

oh man! i almost forgot to mention Moe's Southwest grill. it's fast food and it ties with Krystal's with being the best. man, i love to get a Homewrecker burrito, it's the size of a friggin football, no shit. and that's $7 well spent my friends. and when you enter, the staff all yells: Welcome to Moe's! and when they all say it together, it sounds like the ending to the popular budwieser commercials. it's hilarious.

Best place for fast food is easily Boston Market for two reasons. One, it's expensive, but I found that if you spend the same amount of money at a different fast food place (which is increasingly easier now) you get decidedly less food. Two, having been shifted down to Florida as opposed to my native Nova Scotia, it's the closest I can get to the mindblowingly deliciousness of the local Swiss Chalet.

Here are my favorite fast food joints and my favorite items from those particular places.

McDonald's

1. Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit

2. Sausage Biscuit

3. Fries

4. Big Mac

Wendy's

1. Bacon Cheeseburger

2. Double Stack

3. Fries

4. Frosty

5. Chicken Sandwich

Taco Bell

1. Soft Taco

2. Mexican Pizza

3. Chicken Quesadilla

4. Steak Quesadilla

KFC

Honey BBQ Wings

That sounds awesome. I bet a something like that would really take off here (in the southern USA) if it was promoted right.

It did take off. Only it was called Chipotle. 😉 Heck, I worked at a burrito bar called Flying Burrito for quite a while. Jim worked there even longer.

We don't have anything like that in my little podunk burgh. We NEED something like that, though.

My newest craving is from a restaurant known as sonic. They have a wrap that is chili, cheese and fritos wrapped in a torilla. And to make this restaurant even better they actaully serve tater tots. I never had those since I was a child ^____^
