The Whitehead gag really exists. Below is the model that I own.
Goddess Shelly has tickled the roof of my mouth using this gag to protect her fingers for as long as ten minutes without a break. It is torture, but exquisite torture for me.

An author friend of mine wrote a story wherein a tickler goes to buy one of these Oral-B electric toothbrushes. The naturally beautiful attendant then asks him: "Is it for an hygenic or tactile use?" 😀

Now I cannot go buying a toothbrush without hoping that one day I will be asked that question 😛

it's not just like or dislike for me, when i think about it. i really have 4 categories

1: like the sensation - only really the feet and underarms. generally not the most ticklish areas, but i love the way it feels to be tickled there.
2: tolerate the sensation because i like the experience - stomach/sides. this can be somewhat torturous, but i like it as part of the package because of whatever is up in my psychology that makes being tickled an enjoyable/erotic thing
3: just as soon leave it out - knees/thighs. light inner thigh tickling would probably feel nice, can't remember if it's been done. but generally real tickling in these areas I could do without in a session. Even though I enjoy being a lee, I wouldn't bother having a session if this is where I'm being tickled.
4: don't touch me - neck. being tickled on my neck makes me fully appreciate why people who hate being tickled, hate it. this is just a miserable experience that doesn't even feel like it's indulging the same fetish. just feels terrible. i also actually have dreams sometimes where i can't protect my neck and someone/something is tickling it, and i wake up freaked out and almost feeling it. so yea definitely some weird inner demons going on there!

I have never heard people have nightmares about tickling
