Spring Rain

Since the cold weather thread is pretty well filled up, and its now spring, I thought I'd start one dedicated to when it rains.

As people who live in NYC, and the North East and Mid Atlantic are aware, this is going to be a very soggy weekend, straight through into Monday. Supposedly up to three inches of rain is expected to fall. A complete weekend washout.

Right now it's pouring out. The rain is expected to continue through tonight, and into tomorrow.

Most areas around here are reporting at least two inches of rain.

If it would be snow it would be halfway up to our knees.

Right now, its heavy rain with thunder and a few flashes of lightning. It's supposed to continue most of tonight.

The rain has cleared, and it is a beautiful sunny day now. A perfect day for the Mets to open their season at Citi Field.

Same old story....down here in Georgia we've had a few years of drought conditions. Lately, we've been getting rain. We Bitched and moaned when it didn't rain, then when it does, we do the same. Go figure. And I won't even mention snow....

Although this weekend has been beautiful and sunny, as if last week's rain wasn't enough,. starting late tomorrow,.. we are supposed to have 1 to 2 inches of rain in NYC. How pleasant!

The weather today in NY is horrible, heavy rain and thunderstorms expected all day.

Yeah, its terrible here in NY. My neighbor put out packages to be picked up for delivery, but by the time they came they were totally soggy (poor recipient??)
