I admit to watching this show. And it has nothing to do with Pamela Anderson. Quite frankily, she's always ditzy no matter what role she plays or how serious it can be. Remember V.I.P? I do. Although maybe thats the point. In which case, she's a great actress in being able to keep alive the dumb blonde stereotype and make you believe it.

Anyways, about this show. Do you think its going to get cancelled or make it to a second season? I have mixed feelings about this. The plot is so bland and boring and yet I watch anyway.

Its like all these people do is stand around and chat in a bookstore. Their lives are otherwise uneventful, and all that transpires does so in the confines of the bookstore. They're always coming or going from something, never during. The plot, episode for episode is weak and alot of the dialogue is just plain dribble.

Being the romantic that I am, the only good I see so far out of this other than the witty sarcasm of the fat bookkeeper/coffee maker/cashier/ whatever she is or does, is that the whole Skyler and whats his face romance is being actualized finally. They always hinted at it from day one, but now its going somewhere.

I think that if it wasn't for Pam An, this show would have bombed already (not that she's doing it any favors by being there). It's like its trying harder than it possibly could and trying to be something it's not. It hasn't found it's identity yet and the characters are roaming without direction and that bothers me.

I love Frashier, but I see Stacked trying to mimick aspects of it, like the sophisticated upsy yet humble sort of air to the whole place.

I don't know. I'm still going to watch, but I think the show will either bomb, need life support (things like celebrity appearances, etc) or won't make a second season.

Remember the show John Doe? Now that was interesting in a corny way. It didn't make it to season 2, right when it was getting good. Yet the lead actor is now in Prison Break.

Prison Break is where my money is at. I've loved it since it started and when it comes to dvd I'm buying it faster than an addict gets his fix. It's a shame we have to wait until...what did they say...March...for more episodes.

Gavin! Thats his name. And isn't the cashier's name Katrina or something like that?

And of course I forgot that Dan Ackroid (spelling) is in this too. He plays the retired NASA scientist, Harold. LOL

EDIT: Oh, and 24 is coming back this Sunday, I almost forgot! Great. 😀

Yes, yes, that's him. I knew Dan Akroid didn't sound right. I had the right face, but the wrong name.

I've actually never seen Stacked.

I almost didn't watch it the first time when it started. But I had nothing better to do at the time. And when someone has nothing better to do and the tv is right in front of you, people will watch just about anything.

In my house (well, before I moved back) we had A "No Reality TV" rule for our 'tube.

It's not a reality show. Out of curiousity, other than the general feeling by certain demographics that reality shows are stupid, why is it forbidden in your home?

I guess that doesn't sound too weird. When I was younger a friend of mine wasn't allowed to watch the Simpsons, his parents wouldn't let him.

the hollywood brother likes the show but it is not a must see televison epic that the hollywood brother will be glued to his television for

I cant wait for sopranos in March. I admit to watching amerian idol on fox. I used to watch 90210 and party of five.

24 is back! It was pretty good, for a first episode. I still really like the way they created this show. With 1 hour in the timeline of the story being represented by 1 episode, and 24 episodes representing a single day (24 episodes is coincidentally how many episodes there are in a technical tv series), hence the name of the show. ^^

I think alot of people forget the short time frame the events take place in. One immediately follows up the other. Like how the nuclear scare in the last season happened and was dealt with in one day. It obviously feels longer than that, since we have to wait a full week just to see another hour in these people's lives.
