i disagree. i'm thinking either Bruins and Wings or possible Bruins and Canucks. If the Ducks win the cup again I'm jumping out of a fucking window!

now, my dark horse picks would be Bruins and Caps/Pens for the East champs, at least. dark horse for the West would be Wings and Canucks/Hawks.

and just for the record, again, I FUCKING HATE THE DUCKS. that is all.
 
What's up with the Bruins? They've been crapping the bed against the Canes.

Caps/Pens is proving to be one helluva a series. Every game has pretty much gone down to the wire.

Wings/Ducks - If you like physical hockey, this is the series for you. Wings refusing to let the Ducks push them around.

Hawks/'Nucks - Will Chicago ever get off to a good start? If not, will they ever not make an impressive late game comeback?
 
Honestly haven't been paying too much attention to the playoffs outside of the eastern division. I'm pulling for my Bruins, who I honestly thought were sunk when we dropped to 3-1 in this series against Carolina. However, after watching tonight's 4-0 victory, I have a slight glimmer of hope. Boston at home is a force to be reckoned with, as I know first hand just how high the intensity gets in the Garden for the Bruins. How we do Wednesday will be key, but if we play like we did tonight, I think we can make it, but my optimism is limited. Also, Milan Lucic is my goddamn hero.

That being said, I'm also loving the Penguins/Caps series going on and cannot wait to watch game 6 tomorrow night. Let's go Caps!

Have you guys been watching the playoffs on the NHL network? I have to pay an extra 5 bucks a month to get out of market games including this round of the playoffs and possibly next round as well. 🙁
 
Nope. Up here in Massachusetts I've been watching the Bruins on NESN on occasion, but since the second round started, Versus has been broadcasting a solid majority of the playoffs. Its pretty handy.

Yeah I get Versus as well but have to pay a tad extra for it. :whipcrack:

Also for people out of market, channelsurfing.com generally carries the games free streaming. Quality can be eh but its better than nothing.
 
The wonders of college... I get channels I normally wouldn't, and all I do is pay like $6000 more than I should. SWEET DEAL!

Er hem, but seriously. Bruins game 7 baby, let's keep that momentum going. Interested in the end of this Caps/Penguins series as well.
 
Son of a bitch... Caps lose last night, Bruins lose tonight. There goes my reason for watching the playoffs anymore, short of the enjoyment of the sport. Damn... that's such a kick in the junk. C'est la vie I suppose.

The Eastern Conference is a joke. Nobody plays defense.

What a couple of game 7s last night. Ducks go down by 2 twice, but rally back to tie it up in the third, only to have the Wings score in the final three minutes. As a Wings fan, that game was a little too much for me.

Bruins tie it up to send the game into OT, and as always in dramatic fashion, the Canes manage to score and break the hearts of Bruins fans. They did the same thing to the Devils last round.

I sure am glad Chicago has made it back and reached the conference finals. It's great for the NHL that this series is happening, congrats Chicago!

However, your run I believe will end. Unless you'ove become a physical team in the past week, Detroit's experience should be too much to overcome. Chicago has all the tools to become the team of the future, just not the near future 🙂.

The Wings experience, skating ability and puck handling prowess will reign. Wings in 6.

Goodie, don't lose hope yet. It's still anyone's series. The Hawks need some wins and I think they can get them at home. If the Wings win even 1 of the next 2 in Chicago, I think the Hawks are in trouble. We'll see how it goes. A very interesting series so far, to say the least!!

Campbell better be hoping he doesn't have a dead squid nailed to his door.

3 playoff goals(one in calgary or vancouver) and 2 in this series have cost the hawks wins because of that overpaid goof
