For us Starcraft Nerds, this is heavenly. The game that has owned our lives for nearly 10 years, is coming back. Not that it ever went anywhere. Starcraft is the most played PC game in the world. Korea actually has a national holiday dedicated to the game.

No other RTS, has the depth, balance, and fun of Starcraft. Let us hope that this is a trend that will only get better, with the sequel!

While I think i'll buy this game, I probably won't buy it immedialty. Playing single player RTS is fun for me, but for some reason, playing online gives me more aggravation then fun.

Before Duke Nukem forever? Perhaps after? Then again, look at what happened to Ghost ... Regardless, it looks quite lovely. HDS enjoyed the original muchly (Still does, on occasion. They don't make games like they used to this one sometimes thinks).

It is more aggravating, at first. In order to be truly skilled against others at this game, you have to lose, and lose ALOT. It is so worth it though. No other game offers so much depth.

I'd love to play it online...I just hate the majority of simpletons who ruin online gaming by resorting to hacks and cheating.

I may buy it, looks interesting from the trailer.

Info so far,


Dragoons are no longer in the game, Dark Templars are no longer in the game.

Goons have been replaced by "Immortals" ... Thank God... I hate dragoons.


So far, it would seem that they are focusing on the Protoss first. My race are the Zerg, so I am waiting to see what new abilities/units we will have.


As for a release date... My guess would be sometime in either 08 or 09.
