Anyone watch the show "stars without make up"? its amazing how these apparent gorgeous actresses look like they were beaten by an ugly stick after the 5lbs of make up is removed. the wonders of make up will never cease to amaze me!

Watched this train wreck, laughed my ass off. For years I've made fun of my idiotic guy friends for their female celeb fantasies. "You moron...EVERYONE could look like that if they had 3 stylists and 2 1/2 hours of hair and makeup stylists, lighting and shadow experts, etc." Pamela Lee has looked like the Cryptkeeper for years. My biggest beef is that they're all so full of shit about it. Ya, right, Nicolette Sheridan (who was once very beautiful, now to me looks like more of a drag queen than RuPaul) "Oh, no I haven't had ANY plastic surgery..." Right..Eat a sandwich you freak.

Actually I was surprised to find some of them looked pretty good though. OMG, Faye Dunaway, even without makeup (what is she, like 80 now?) still gorgeous, IMHO...

I saw the Enterainment Tonight preview

And I had seen alot of those women before without their "faces on" (as my wife calls it)....you want to know who was absolutely gorgeous. Mary Hart herself went without make-up underneath the studio lights, and taking into account what the years of wearing the make up has done to her face, she was stunning.

I saw a little tiny bit of it - the UFO show was more interesting on ABC.... but I like'd how Cher just ripped into the guy taking videos of her in her hometown. I'm not even a Cher fan, and I was thinking "She's got a point". Yea, Cher.

Shows like this add some perspective, I think. These people are no more attractive than you or I, something we already knew. Hell, we probably look better, especially considering what wearing all that makeup can do to your skin.

When I see programs like this I just have to shake my head. I don't understand why anybody would want to watch a program like this? Do people really get a kick out of this? I guess some people are really self conscious, and this makes them feel better about themselves.

Now, I live in LA and have met a few celebs in person, and I would have to say celebs are usually more attractive than your average person.

OMG, LMAO...I was born and raised in Santa Barbara for 15 years, so I know my share of celebs too. I'm not the least insecure about my looks, I say all the time to people who make the "Goddess" comments that they're wrong, I've always been very girl next door looks-wise, very average. I could stand to lose a few pounds even~HOLY SHIT 🙄 the sky is falling!

I find a show like this entertaining because of all the phoniness that gets exposed. I love and respect when a "supermodel" like Cindy Crawford (who looks great w/out makeup, just not quite as flashy as we're used to seeing) is honest enough to say things like, "I don't look like this when I wake up in the morning." My fun comes from someone like Demi Moore after having 3 kids saying the body she displayed in "Striptease" was natural. How stupid do these schmucks with their egos as big as cathedrals think we are? Duh, if you had a personal chef, a plastic surgeon, personal trainer and all the rest we'd all look like celebs!

I've been told I could be a model if I wanted to, that I have the looks for it, the face, etc., but thats not my thing. Or, it may be something I would consider for fun.

If I do follow through with being a voice actor, there will probably be even more opportunities for modeling down the road.

I don't care too much for talking about modeling, since I'm sure it makes others think I'm full of myself.

Okay my love. You are not a goddess.🙄 But you are not average. Anyone could attest to that. You are far from average. Pounds wise I would take you over a skinny starving movie star anyday. I like a woman who carries herself and is proud to have a few extra pounds. That is me though. I don't want 5'3" 85 pounds. I like the 5'3 with some meat on her bones. Besides you are Italian so the extra pounds are allowed. But I say that to all the ladies. I would be proud what weight you have. If you are comfortable that is great. Movie stars. Like to tickle them but not date them. People like Sadira, Gigglegal,Kitten and of course Steph light my fire because they are not phoney. They are real people. You got to love them.

I figure, it ain't real if I don't see it on the street where I live. TV and the movies are nothing but a fantasy land, anyway. If most of the people on this board knew what the people they obsess about looked like when they woke up in the morning, you'd have more than your share of suicides.

Now, where I am's good for me, since I love overweight women, and New Jersey's the world's capital for overweight women, two thirds of the women I see can definitely stand, for health reasons, to do some time on a treadmill. Nevertheless, I'm not jonesing for seeing anyone who looks like Pamela Anderson on my TV, or in the coffee/tea aisle in Shop Rite.

By the way, if there was ever anyone who resembled a Madame Tussaud's exhibit come to life, it's got to be Pam...I imagine if you held a lit match close to her face, it would melt.
