I gotta agree, not to sound negative or anything, But are you guys never happy? There was criticism after Pam, Brande Roderick, Maria Menounos, Nikki Ziering, and now this? Come on. We're lucky we're even seeing any of this on TV period. Much less on Howard. He doesn't even have to do this. But he does it. Thanks Navel. To be honest, I thought it was hot enough as it was. Could have been a little longer, due to 30 seconds and all, and at least she was barefoot (Given, it's like an open target for the guy) but those were my only criticisms towards it. And to be honest, aside form those things, it's fine. Besides, anyone wants to see foot tickling, wait until the one with Shaun Bagwell since that was confirmed.

Yeah, these Stern tickling episodes are a real waste of time. I don't know why Nontkl even bothered telling us about it.
Howard didn't even suck her toes. And why wasn't she tied hanging upside down?
What was the point of Howard going to a commercial break. He should have just canceled all of his other scheduled guests and tickled Kari for the rest of the show.
Give me one good reason why they couldn't just pre-empt the rest of the days programming and tickle Kari all day long.
What a fucking waste of time!

I got so disgusted with it that I changed the channel. And lucky me. I turned on Live with Regis and Kelly. Regis was on vacation this week, and the guest host was Tickler In Black. It was really cool. Their first guest was MTP Jeff. TIB and MTP tied Kelly up and tickled the living shit out of her. And the best part was that she was totally naked.

After that, I flipped the channel to Desperate Houswives. What a great episode. Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria were captured by a secret agent. He tied them both up and tickled them for information.

There's just so many channels you can turn to and see celebrities getting tickled. Why does Stern even waste our times with this shit?

Guys, this segment was GREAT!! Regrettably too short, but even the conversation leading up to the actual tickling session was like on-air foreplay for a tickle-fan! I mean, c'mon, she was very cute, very bubbly, very giggly and the first words out of her mouth when a caller suggested the Tickle Chair were, "Noooo, I don't like being tickled, I...seriously, every time I get tickled I pee! I'm like...I don't tickle well." What more could one ask for?

I'm still amazed Howard coaxed her into doing it, given her obvious reluctance, but to me that made it all the sweeter once she gave in and changed into that yellow bikini. It just seems more exciting to see a pretty girl who is so deliciously hesitant and genuinely fearful about letting herself be tickled than a completely willing one.

You knew this girl wasn't lying when she said, "I'm so ticklish it's sad," because even when Howard was just reaching down with his hands to start in on her, she squealed and giggled hysterically as if he was already tickling her! That was incredibly cool to hear.

The actual tickling was just as good. She screamed and squirmed just like you'd expect (and hope) a very ticklish girl would do. I loved it. It was genuine and sexy and you don't see this kind of thing anywhere else on television. Howard is a pioneer in the field and we owe him a large debt of gratitude.

Im not going to pile on the people who dont like the Howard segments, mostly because this debate has been going on almost entirely too long. The people who dont like it have every right not to. I think it just baffles the majority of us that do like the segments.....it confuses me because before Pam Anderson/Carmen Electra/ etc., were on Howard, I would read thousands of posts here and at AMT about how they wondered if these were women were ticklish. They would love to see them tied up. Then when it happens, people arent happy with the way it was done. I mean, What the Fuck? Get a pro to tickle them? Well, Im not even a bondage expert (whatever that is), but even I know there has to be a comfort level between the 'Ler and the 'Lee. And I have a revelation for some of you:

Anyways I know it has been said enough but it needs to keep being said. All the people who complain about these segments need to grow up now. Isnt it enough that you are seeing it on TV? And the Miss Teen USA segment did not suck at all. She was a very beautiful girl and obviously extremely ticklish. I thought her reactions were some of the best I have seen in all the years of Stern.

I think we all have to keep this sort of thing in a proper perspective.
That is: Mainstream TV material (like the Stern show), for us, is a necessarily quantity vs. quality issue.

Try looking at this a couple of different ways:

• Stern has other stuff to worry about.
  
  It's the Howard Stern Morning Radio Show, NOT the Howard Stern Tickling Show. The guy has to attend to other aspects of the program, and he doesn't exist simply to satisfy us. Believe it or not, not everyone is into this kind of fetish. Howard has to accommodate millions of other listeners/viewers with other forms of entertainment (raunchy jokes, "spin the wheel"-type games, breast exams, celebrity interviews, etc). Additionally, there is his continuing battle with the FCC. If you recall, he had a recent spat with the FCC chairman on the air concerning freedom of speech and questioning Powell's qualifications for the job. Due to this constant fight with the government, he'll be making the move to satellite radio within a year or so. So who knows for certain how this will affect the E! show (or if there will even be one in the future).
  
  Given all of this, it's not realistic for him to be an "expert" on our little "fringe" fetish. Yes, friends, we are considered to be just outside of the mainstream on this. As such, don't expect our peculiar---and relatively minor--needs to rank that high on his priority list.
  
• Practical issues.
  
  As far as, say, using a bed as opposed to the chair, coffee table, couch, Lazy-Boy recliner or whatever bondage device/furniture you can think of, there are practical limitations to this sort of thing.
  
  I mean, come on, it's primarily a radio studio. Is it wise to constantly keep a queen or king sized bed in that small of a space on regular basis? Is he expected to wheel it out every time he has a porn star or model visit the studio? Where the hell would he store it (He already has a rack full of bikinis an assortment of other weird props)? Does he have to invite Yaqi each and every time he has such a guest? Does he fly him out on his own dime? Does he try to tickle each and every one?
  
  Besides, some girls may find a bed or set of stocks to be a more intimidating premise than a lawn chair. He can't risk creeping out his potential guests by being that much more hardcore. Remember: All of his past guests could just have easily said no to such requests. Then where would that leave us? If you don't agree with any of this, scroll back up and re-read the first bullet statement.
  
  
• Mainstream acceptance.
  
  As I stated earlier, we are still considered a "fringe" group of fetishists. Therefore, material in this arena is necessarily limited. Although this attitude may be changing in some quarters, it's a war of inches. We have to crawl before we can walk, walk before we can run.
  
  Trust me, I understand the complaint. We all want more and better on television. But we have to acknowledge the fact the most people consider this kind of sexuality a little strange. We can't expect to be 100% satisfied all the time. It's just not a reality.
  
  Acceptance takes time, and I'm sure we'll get there. Meanwhile, let's gain as much ground as possible, and learn to live what progress that can be made.

Two years ago the bulk of the Mainstream section consited of people coming here to talk about some half second long poke that some actress got in a scripted scene.
