My thinking here is, if the lee can concentrate enough to stick to a damn script, it doesn't tickle enough and therefore is not an interesting clip to me.

In a video, it's kind of a tough thing to balance. I've seen videos where the storyline is poorly developed, giving it a manufactured feel rather than a natural one. I've seen other videos in which the development is complex with a lot of thought and effort put into it, but ends up taking too much time and leaves the viewer impatient to get on with the tickling.
The Tickle Abuse videos that I've seen offer no storyline whatsoever, and yet they rank among the best ever produced, in my opinion.
The Tickle Torture videos in which Charlee is the ler often have storylines, but they are brief and to the point. They also rank among the best, in my opinion.
In summary, storylines rarely make or break a video. It's success is more a result of the quality of the tickling and the production.
Unfortunately, despite what the video description may read, most of these are models who are just doin it for the dollars, not people who actually enjoy it on the same level we do.
I think that people whose fetish really derives from some feeling about the particular situation and power interchange between the subjects of the action are really after stories anyway, even when they're watching videos -- their ideal video is made to serve the spirit of that.
Others are probably just watching videos because they're more exclusively interested in the erotic sights and sounds of the immediate action. (And some of them seen to infer reflexively that a storyline directly implies poor acting, even though I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually suggest that.)
