This is the sequel of "Stranded in Hell", named:

"HELL ON EARTH"

I am posting the cover page and first comic page now, probably two or maybe three more pages this weekend and the rest in good time as well, all to this thread, so keep checking back.

The sequel does not contain the sheer amount and intensity of tickling that the previous chapter had (just to prepare you) but Priëlla will have something for her fingers to do for sure. Another difference is that there's /M in this one as well. If you liked the previous comic and want to know what happens with Priëlla and with Dora after that... you probably are interesting to read this even if it doesn't contain as much tickling. The plot, of course, is again something that I think is quite neat and again has a surprise or two in it.

The story is complete now, you can find all pages by browsing this thread or selecting them separately from the following index:
- Cover (attached to this post)
- Page 01 (attached to this post)
- Page 02 and 03

And here are the next two pages. 🙂

More to follow.

A distinctly engrossing dilemma this odd-couple of friendly detectives has chosen to investigate! Whomever the ne'er-do-well perpetrator might be, he/she is tripping perilously close to ghastly retribution, mucking with God's divine order! If your version of the underworld has its Tartarus, his/her spot has surely already been picked out! And the poor couple who can't seem to get pregnant?... I'm most intrigued to learn their function amongst these seemingly unrelated events!

Thanks for your wonderful comment again, LBH! (honestly I was starting to wonder if anyone was going to comment on this story at all, in my opinion it is building up to be one of the great ones... although it's not as tickle-heavy as some of my other creations).

The events on page one indeed seem completely unrelated to the story for now, yet its importance is no less than critical, but you'll find out later on. For now the investigation continues and let's see where it takes them...

PAGE 4

but not without a WARNING ! This story contains a death-scene and it's on this page. (Let's say that we owe that much to Mr. Marley?). Anyway, this is an exceptional event, the story isn't going to turn that nasty.

Stay tuned as the story unfolds and all the cards come onto the table!

Yeccch! Cyanide-laced vomit! Well, you did warn us!

So... Santa Claus serves in the Office of Everlastiing Affairs, does he? Who'd have thunk it (except for your infernally fertile mind!) Guess he has to do something the other 11 months!

"Office of Everlasting Affairs"? I like that name 🙂

And yes, Santa Claus is a very essential member of the Destiny division, has a very important task. It was only mentioned and shown very briefly on Page 27 of Stranded in Hell, so it's not a surprise that not everyone knows or remembers now (it's been a while ago too).

A quick quote from that page to refresh everyone's mind:

Santa: "He is right, Dora. We are not fake. Most humans don't believe or stop believing, but that also makes our job easier. See, I'm not just the jolly guy that checks who's been naughty or nice and then hands out presents..."

Yola: "Destiny Division's book keeper, he is..."

A new page is almost ready, maybe appearing later today. 🙂

Heh heh! Poor Priëlla! A few years back, I might have opened a laptop the same way!

Earth's environs really do seem uninvitingly cold and barren, particularly in that final bleached-out panel. Might easily be a Mediterranean country… all that whitewashed stucco is eloquent of coastal antiquity.

They don't use computers in Hell, clearly.

Yeah, I tried to portray well the fact that Priëlla is used to Hell, and hell is a HOT place. Earth must really be feeling quite chilly at best to her.

PAGE 6

Dora gets a unique chance to do something she wasn't able to do before... and she grabs it with both hands... but then...

CHANCE ON A FREEBEE DRAWING
I wonder, is anyone as smart as Dora? Can anyone figure out what Dora just realized? The first one who gives the correct answer in a reply to this thread (before the next page is published because that's giving away the answer) will win a custom drawing of Dora and/or Priëlla. So let the brains work, put up your detective hat and let's see how smart you all are. 😉

Note: The next page (which contains tickling by the way) should appear probably in 2 days.

>> *imagines priella doing the computer scene from zoolander*

Edit: Also she realized that P. Canoe is in reality Al Capone

Because of the book itself and the email address. This is only a theory, but I imagine there being a criminal underworld where the most evil of souls can be able to give the innocent their criminal pasts to get a clean bill and a free pass from going to hell

I guess abadon is right. I see no other realization that could possibly be hinted.

Or maybe that they have been looking in the wrong place. Instead of looking for the person in the living they should look for that person in the dead. Specifically hell.

It's a good try, but not the right answer, I'm afraid. The underworld certainly has to do with this (the fact that court judges and police men... the people who keep the law in check and act upon it, the big opposite of criminals were sent to hell) sure hints towards that, but the statement that the person they're looking for would be Al Capone is not correct. As TD also said, Al Capone is dead. As a matter of fact, the laptop clearly is a sign that this story takes place long after Al Capone died. Dora isn't thinking that Al Capone is the one they're after. It's something else she suddenly realized and it HAS to do with the fact that she's a librarian, that she loves books, literature, everything to do with it.

Or maybe that they have been looking in the wrong place. Instead of looking for the person in the living they should look for that person in the dead. Specifically hell.

That would have been quite a wonderful twist, but alas... Al Capone isn't directing things from his location in Hell.

But good tries.

Hmmm. Aw I remember now. Dora found a book in hell that told her why she was in hell. Maybe if she looks into that book she will know who the culprit is? Or the book can tell help her with it.

That al capone threw me off a bit. But you mentioning librarian was a huge tip off.

"A Thousand Secrets and One" (that's the name of the book you are talking about) does not give away hints or information on who the culprit is. Perhaps reading it might help her further in some way, but that's not the point.

That 'Al Capone' can have easily thrown you off, yes. First she found an email address from someone, then she sees a book about Al Capone and she suddenly gets a brainwave. A conclusion that can be drawn from there is that she realizes that the person is Al Capone - but that's not what she realizes.

Dora, she is a librarian, yes, but this is not directly related to the library and her job, more to her LOVE for books, reading, literature, language. When I say what she just realized you will probably say .... OOOOOH! because it is almost literally spelled out for you, but I won't give any further hints on this, or I'll just reveal it all myself. 🙂

The next page should arrive within a day, possibly in half a day so there's not much time to beat Dora to it. 😉

I think I got it

Could it be that "P. Canoe" is just an anagram for "Capone"? And since Dora loves words, she recognized the connection immediately?

Exactly!

Good job. 🙂

She realized that it was not a real person's name, but recognized it as an anagram. And so they are on the wrong track looking for someone named 'P. Canoe'.

Tell me in which way you would like Dora and/or Priëlla to be posed (tk/non-tk) and I'll draw the picture. You can also send me a PM with the description of what kind of picture you'd like to see.

Okay, I've come up with the idea and sent the PM, but I'm not sure if it went, so let me know if you've received anything or not.

I received it (twice in fact). Thanks.
I'll send you a reply shortly.

....wait that was it?

Yes. Simple but quite important. If Dora wouldn't have seen the pattern between "P. Canoe" and "Capone" they would have kept searching for someone who doesn't exist.

The most surprising to me is that "Al Capone" and "P. Canoe" was put into one sentence here in the first guess and nobody noticed something similar about those series of letters still. 😉

Then I just plain did not get her reaction to it. I thought she got something. To me that was what her reaction was to me. Not about how wrong they were.
