Strange thing happened today...

I was posting wondering if this had happened to anyone before.

I was in Best Buy today looking at some games. I wasn't really thinking about anything else just the games. I was walking up and down the rack looking at the different games when I saw someone who reminded me of an old friend. Well maybe not remind me, for a moment I couldn't help, but wonder if it really was my old friend. What was strange is I started to think of all these reasons why I hadn't seen my friend sense the last time I saw him to that very moment. His name was Eric (my old friend.) He had red hair, and freckles like this guy. Even the same height. What was sad, and it really hurts to think about it now is how I could forget about Eric. I almost called out to him, but stopped. But what hurts now is I forgot Eric had died two years ago.

Thanks for that. It's just strange for me to mistaken someone for someone I've lost. I usually think about the friends and family members I lost everyday. Just my way of keeping them alive.

NOW I don't want anyone feeling sorry for me, or scared that I might kill myself over this. It's just something that's important to me.

there is a man who walks in the park everyday..and at first glance i always think there's dad..i believe we all do that..so don't worry, it's normal..

It probably just means that you yearn to see him again. It's tough when you lose a close friend. The death of a loved one is probably the most difficult thing one has to go through.
