Stupid new commercials!

Recently, the French car producer Renault started a new series of extremely stupid commercials, promoting their substantial discounts per kid in the family. Three examples:

- A pregnant woman with 4 kids is in a grocery store. The shopkeeper aks her, pointing at her pregnant tummy: "Do you know what it will be this time?" Reply: "Yes, a Renault!"

- A pimply, nerdy boy enters a ladies' hairdressers and asks: "Who wants to have a child from me?" In no time, half a dozen of most attractive woman shout: "Me!"-"Me too!"

- A group of masked women with handguns storms into a bank office and shout: "This is a robbery! Hands up!" The clerk: "But... but this is a sperm bank!" - "Exactly!" 🙄

Are there any similarly stupid commercials (apart from the well-known Budweiser spots) where you live?

Burger King has recently taken the top spot in stupidity in american commercials. At first I thought their "lunch time break room at the office" commercials where they fight over whose chicken sandwich is whose and why others are copying the way they had their whopper made were bad enough. But they have since topped themselves and created the ULTIMATE awful commercial. And I'm not talking merely stupid. We're talking the stuff nightmares are made of....

A guy is sleeping in bed. It's morning and the sun is bright in his room. He wakes with a start to find this creepy oversized, plastic head freak dressed as a King sitting in bed next to him. The guy quickly sits up with a spooked look on his face, and the creepy king dude, without saying a word, reaches behind himself and grabs a plate with a sandwich on it, handing it to the guy in bed. The guy proceeds to take the sandwich and eat it, while we hear this low, breathy, maniacal voice describe the new Croissandwich at Burger King... "Egg and meat and cheese......and meat and cheese." It gives anyone within ear shot the willies. Then the creepy king dude and the guy in bed go through a series of homoerotic movements, including laughing together and placing their hands upon one another, only to act embarrassed and quickly pull back as if fighting off the urge to rip one anothers clothes off right then and there.

Myriads can do this commercial the most justice. He's always creeping us out in the chat room with his own renditions of this freak fest. All I know is that Burger King should be sued for traumatizing millions of americans with this nightmarish display.

McDonald's

Mimi did Burger King so I'm gonna go to the other side of the fast food war-McDonald's. I know you all have had to see those horrible commercials for the chicken selects i believe they are called. There are a few different ones but the one that sticks to memory is the one with the guy who is pretending like he is in a band and drops all these terrible lines for instance,
"Hey folks you have been a good crowd but I am gonna have to ask you to step away from teh chicken selects." and,
"My man you play a mean bass but if i catch you looking at my chicken selects one more time, you're out of the band."
These commercials make me want to cross an LA freeway during rush hour holding up my middle finger if you catch my drift. 😀

just about every gap and old navy commercial. then there is the one's for that men's body spray "bod"...original, eh? the nike commercials have gotten worse, always appealing to the minorities and making so easy to believe that you can't play basketball without these shoes.

awww i like the Guiness(plz excuse spelling) commercial, i think it's kinda funny.

the annoying one i dislike is the mcdonald's one where the guys are sitting in the restaurant and they are playing the monopoly game(promotional junk for the domestic market)...and he was saying how "in the zone" he is because he got a bestbuy buck and he goes around the table and each guy got one...and the last one says something about he got a pony
