I think it might be a good idea for member to be able to find other members by using the search that's already there but what I suggest is being able to define the search based on a particular state or country your looking for members from as well as what sex they are. Anyway just my opinion on the matter.

Sadly the search is a hardwired 'as is' function. We have no control over the fields that searches are allowed on beyond what you see there now. Hopefully the updated version of the board we hope to move to at some point will offer more.
