OT...but maybe not. This strip (drawn by John McPherson) is distributed by Universal Press Syndicate. The September 2 strip is a bookstore scene, an author signing the book "When Bad Things Happen To Good People." The joke is, everyone in line is a victim. There's a guy being swarmed by hornets, a woman trying to unwind a python from herself, a guy on crutches in multiple casts, and...drum roll...a barefoot woman, hogtied and gagged. No tickling in evidence, but I suspect the artist is one of us.
