Ok, we've talked about the individual teams, how about the conferences? The AFC owned the Super Bowl in the '70's, then the NFC dominated for almost 15 years, now the AFC has won 4 of the last 5.

So here's the question. Which conference do you think has the stronger teams, most capable of winning the Super Bowl?

I'll go with the AFC taking another one. If the Jets don't do it (don't laugh, I've got this strange feeling about them this year), there's the #1 offense of the Raiders, the power of Tennesee, and Indy's good chance if thier defense plays like it was before a few weeks ago.

I can only see Philly or Green Bay in the NFC. And Philly might actually be hurt if McNabb comes back, being rusty and all. I know that I wouldn't want to find out how well he's healed during a Divisional playoff game. Of course, that begs another question, but we'll save that for when (and if) it becomes relevant.

I voted for the AFC, out of sentiment. The first superbowl that I actually watched was in 1969, when the Jets (with Joe Namath as QB) upset the highly favored Baltimore Colts to win, for the AFC's first victory ever.

I went with the NFC just to be difficult. Heh heh heh! But, in reality, I think the Raiders have the best shot to take it all, not that I'm counting the Jets OR the Packers out. McNabb rusty? A possibility, still, Oakland has been very impressive this season, and I'd make them my odds on favorite.

I think NFC. Both Bays (Green and Tampa) and Philly vs. Oakland. Just my (probably wrong) opinion. 😛
