Superman Tickling

maybe a deeper knowledge of the english language is needed here, but I didn't understand what it was about? What does tickling have to do with it?

She is immobilized via magic, and the guy holding her tells the dog to lick her feet because he wants her laughing, and the next panel is another woman laughing. It's implied.

Honestly this just comes out of nowhere, i actually read the entire story arc to figure out what was going on, and it was a fairly serious story, this just comes so out of nowhere it feels like a deviantart edit

What's strange is I believe earlier in the story she is shown wearing sandals, but they are gone in this scene.

I imagine they fell off when she was levitated and paralyzed.

Also i tried looking up her character on the DC wikia to find out who she was, turns out her and this old man really just appear in this story arc and nowhere else.

Don't ask me to send you the link, because this was all at least a couple years back and i've long since forgotten their names

Him wanting information from her implies he's doing it to get her to talk?

Nope, i read the comic, she was trying to capture him but he got the drop on her, he was explaining his evil plan to her and wanted to humiliate her.

This doesn't get shown on screen, this is literally all we see and its the last scene to include these two, not just in the comic but ever in the DC universe.

I remember posting this some years ago. And yeah, it seemed pretty out of place and it is strange to come across a scene like that in a Western comic, and especially a Superman comic ("the artist's barely disguised fetish" meme comes to mind, lol). But it was such a hot moment to me when I was reading it.

1. She is completely immobilized by magic (which should actually be her forte, the guy is a common mercenary)
2. She is pretty angry and bitchy all the time in the comic, which makes forcing her to laugh by tickling even hotter to me
3. The guy is a bit of a sleaze, but the situation is pretty serious and what he's done has serious consequences, and he teases her with telling her the information she dreads of while forcing her to laugh as she hears it. He has complete control and does something this whimsical to humiliate her
(@SoleHarvester he doesn't require information from her, he's telling her what he's done, and wants her tickled as she hears it out of spite)

By the way, to add to the conversation above, she still has her sandals on, if I recall correctly. Yet, those hang on flimsy and the dog (magical familiar) could easily lick her soles despite them. I mean, this is a comic, I'm just using real life logic here for the fun of it.

Unfortunately, the next page moves on to Krypton (a bit complicated to explain the story) and to the laughter of another woman, Lara, who is Superman's mother. I'd much rather like to see the tickling of the witch, but it can't be more implied.

This scene really struck me as being very hot as well. It’s interesting because there’s nothing visually about it, it’s all in the implications and the reason behind what he says.

The transition to the laughing implies she does get tickled and does laugh.

That’s not going to happen, you can just imagine the outraged parents accusing DC/WB of grooming kids
Yeah I know how they could do that to male tickling than female tickling. Like April from Tmnt was foot tickled for just few seconds and then more focus on Vern. If this were done by anime writers they wouldn’t have a problem with it. Just my observation .

Yes, I remember it.
Elias Orr is the villain.
The tickling scene is not shown. However, the reader—seeing the woman barefoot, hearing the man urge the dogs on because he wants to hear her laugh—and then seeing Kal-El's aunt laugh—is led to conclude: - that the dogs actually licked the woman's feet - that the woman is ticklish and burst out laughing, as does the next woman shown.

It's a shame it's not explicit, though.

P.S. Here you can find most of the tickling scenes with Superman and supporting characters.
