Now that I've recovered from the shock lol, I'd like to share a tickling story I witnessed just last night.
Halloween isn't anywhere near as big in Australia as it is in other countries, but I have some friends who are right into it.
They had their annual party last night. I was invited, but politely declined as it isn't really my thing. Then I saw an add on their social media account that they needed a smoke making machine.
Knowing where I could get one, I said I would drop it off for them.
Now Friday afternoon traffic was not my friend, and I ended up not getting there till late. So late in fact that guests had already started arriving. Far from being upset, they were just greatful that I came through with the machine.
They once again asked me to stay and again I declined this time saying that I didn't have a costume to wear.
They promptly took me into the back room and that's where the fun began.
Now their "back room" is dedicated to all things horror including costumes, makeup and every accessory you can think of. Something like a mini dressing room.
While I stood there in awe, a woman appeared from behind a screen wearing an Elvira type full length black dress.
She said she was trying it on and asked how it looked.
It was way to long and my friend offered to help het out of it and find something else. Instead of going back behind the screen, she lifted het arms above her head and my friend started to pull it off her right there.
They certainly weren't shy, but I was. So I excused myself and went to leave.
It was then that the woman got tangled up in the long dress, and arms still above her head, fell over taking my friend with her in a tangle of arms and legs.
I briefly stopped to try to help them out and copped an errant kick from a bare foot for my trouble. Without thinking, I gave it a very brief tickle and was rewarded with a squeal. My friend then yelled out "yeah, get her", and abandoning the help, grabbed the foot, held it still, and started tickling it herself.
The woman went absolutely bonkers but was fairly tangled up, and it took at least 15-20 seconds to finally get free.
Those seconds produced sweet, high pitched, hysterical laughter that will stay in my memory for a long time.
Afterwards, I actually got introduced the the owner of the very ticklish foot.
She playfully punched me in the shoulder and said it "was all my fault" that she got tickled, and was surprisingly amicable about it.
I ended up staying for the party,, getting to know her better, and now have a new love for Halloween.
But that's a different story. 😉
