Switches -- who goes first?

In response to my thread yesterday, a bunch of TMFers were kind enough to raise their electronic hands and say that they are “switches,” and not pure lers and lees. All responses, of course, were appreciated.

As a follow up question, inspired by Kantian Ethics (the TMFer, not Kant), I ask, who goes first? Logically, I would think that you’d want to be the ler second -- get your revenge, after all. But I actually prefer to be the lee first. Maybe because I’m usually with someone who isn’t into the whole thing generally, but is up for trying it because I’m into it. (The generosity of women is a wonderful thing.) So, by getting her first, I usually find that she has fun, and also gets fully inspired to exact her revenge.

On the rare occasion that I switch, I have to ler first. There is no part of me that cares about getting revenge, and once I'm in a submissive headspace there's no way I can work it up to ler someone.

I'm still a lee, but I think as of late I'm getting drawn to the ler side. Kind of like how Anaken Skywalker was drawn to the dark side lol (ok, bad analogy) but I guess if I were to fully "switch" then the ler would definitely go, but it would always be there somewhere. Basically I think I'd just teeter-totter on being both. Yeah I know it sucks being stuck in limbo, but I think I'd enjoy the best of both worlds to fully give up both 🙂. I'm selfish lol. However,for the most part I enjoy being a lee, and I intend to stay that way until further notice lol.

I like the idea of ler'ing first for exactly the reason you mentioned. Be sure to get her good, cause she's gonna want to kill me after

Ditto. Furthermore, many switches like myself simply have different roles with different folks; I'm a 'lee to some, a 'ler to others, rarely if ever both to the same person.

I totally second Bella. There are just some people I could never be a ler for and there are some I could never see myself as lee. There's just something about different people that make me feel either more submissive or more dominant. Of course there are those few lovely people that it's an all out free for all. Hahaha those are always good times. Not ler or lee just who ever gets pinned is pwned until the escape and retaliate.

Games are always a fun way to decide. Give eachother one of your feet and tickle until one person pulls their foot away. Whoever pulls away loses and gets tied down first 🙂 Or something similar
